Entrepreneurship comes with baggage.

It's almost impossible to feel okay with where you're at and to completely switch your mind off from where you want to take your business.

But recently, I've given myself more time to reflect on where I'm at and where I want to go.

I started writing down some lessons I'd learned from coaching 100s of leaders 1-to-1 over the past 5 years.

I came up with these harsh truths [you’ve probably never heard]:

  1. Age doesn’t correlate with wisdom, intention does.
  2. Health investment will outperform wealth investment.
  3. Success requires a decision [Latin; “to cut off”] success is sacrifice.
  4. Being too ‘nice’ is pathologically self-soothing. Be kind instead.
  5. Most people will never move past the Sunk Cost Fallacy.
  6. Stepping into discomfort doesn’t provide growth, staying in it does.
  7. True success is growing with a state of presence.
  8. High-achievers sacrifice health & relationships to reach their goals.
  9. High-performers understand those things contribute to them.
  10. Time slows down when you’re truly present.
  11. What you resist, persists. Stop fighting & accept.
  12. You know you’re growing when people stop praising you.
  13. You can’t ‘overcome’ your problems; you end up avoiding them.
  14. Discipline is a fallacy. You just don’t have the systems.
  15. Motivation is a fallacy. You just don’t want it enough.
  16. Prioritise health in your 40s, so you’re not fighting in your 60s.
  17. Expressing your feelings isn’t always productive or right.
  18. A purposeless man, is a depressed man.
  19. If you think you’re self-aware, you’re not.
  20. Failure only teaches if you’re willing to be a student.

You'll notice there's a common theme;

HEALTH as an investment.

HEALTH as balance.

HEALTH as fuel.

Most people think their health is a project they just have to tick off and maintain.

But really; it's a vehicle to enjoy life more, earn more money & get more done.

  1. Find your biggest health levers that will yield the biggest results if improved.
  2. Make the choice today whether you want to spend your 50s, 60s & 70s in and out of the hospital or in; different countries, restaurants, visiting family & friends and enjoying nature...
  3. See your health as a vehicle, not an inhibitor. When you're in good health your energy will be higher, your focus will be better & you'll feel more confident & happy.

Ps. I've got a free training that'll help you go from burnout to balance.
