"You can't have the highs, if you don't have the lows.
The goal isn't to eliminate the lows,
But to manage your emotions, reactions & decisions during these periods."
Hey Reader There was a time when I was crippled with overthinking & anxiety. I felt self-conscious in social environments and meeting new people. I genuinely used to think there was something wrong with me, And that others would pick out deficiencies in my appearance or personality. I now speak to very important & successful people daily. I speak on podcasts and in front of 100s people at seminars and events. How? It's simple; I discovered an anti-vision, I noticed a problem and I found a solution. Too many people subside to the pain & discomfort of not being where they want to be. Stuck in the rut on the lows they're facing & frustrated by the lack of clarity they have. I saw a gap between who I wanted to be and who I was. So I spent my next few years finding a solution to self-confidence & high performance. I teach;- high performance in & out of work But really, most people can't maintain basic level functioning. They're getting home from work and binging on sugary & fatty foods. Reacting to their family & people closest to them. Lacking priorities and productivity. Excusing themselves of daily exercise because they're too busy & stressed. If that is anything like you, high performance, whatever that means to you is not your next step. Your next step is to manage the lows & find balance. It's not an easy path, but I do have a solution for you. I'm sure you've been through some difficult times and struggled through adversity. If you're reading this email, you are a step ahead of 99% of people. Why? Because it means you're OPEN to a new approach to performing & being. I'm going to give you the antidote to certain struggles you may be facing. This is the path to clarity & direction so that action-taking becomes SO easy. I used to chase shiny objects, in fact; I still do from time to time. But I realised that the real excitement wasn't in the new or next thing. It was in the work I was doing. Your mind will play tricks on you, it will work against you. It's like a lion yet to be tamed. The solution to that? Get it working for you. When you finally get your mind working for you; your priorities will become clear & your actions will be inevitable. Honestly, overcoming my self-confidence issue was the most difficult thing I've ever done. But the most rewarding, in every aspect of my life. The formula for regaining control & becoming who you want to be;Create an anti-vision [get clear on what you don't want]. When you create the anti-vision for yourself, you may quickly realise that's exactly who you're becoming, and that's not good. What this anti-vision will do for you is create a clear path in the other direction. Most of us don't really know what we want, but we definitely know what we do want because we're negatively wired. I didn't want to be someone who had to avoid social situations because I was nervous. I didn't want to not fulfil my career potential by turning down opportunities to share my teachings to groups of people and companies. Find the problem you need to overcome now. There will be 1 main problem that you need to overcome now in order to avoid the anti-vision. How do you find the problem? Carl Jung said; "To ask the right question is already half the solution of a problem." Ask yourself better questions and dig a bit deeper, there'll be many problems there, trust me. When you identify the problem, you now have a solution. Perhaps your antidote is financial security, maybe it's better health & more energy, or more connection & fulfilling relationships. The solution is in the problem. If you don't know the problem you can't find a solution. Once you've done this, you'll have a clear vision of who and where you want to be and how to get there. If you're enjoying the value in these emails just let me know by replying! |
